Alimiyya Programme
This course has been structured such that it is in-line with and equivalent to a British degree.
Currently we have the Alimiyya Programme available for sisters in full or part time
The Alimiyya programme will cover an in depth study of classical subjects such as:
• Qira’a /Tajweed (Qur’anic Recital) We have built up a reputation of providing only the highest standards of Qira’a.
• Classical Arabic: Language Lagh), Sarf (Etymology) and Nahw (Grammar)
• Usool Al Fiqh (Philosophy of Islamic Jurisprudence) and Fiqh (Jurisprudence)
• Hadith (Prophetic Tradition) and Mustalahul Hadith (Principles of Hadith)
• Aqeedah (Tenants of belief and eschatology)
• Tafseer (Quranic Exegesis)
• Seerah (The Life of The Prophet Muhammad Pbuh)

( Please note: This will cost £500 a year on top of the Jamia ‘Alimiyya fees)

LEADERSHIP IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE AND YOUNG PEOPLE’S SERVICES
(Can work in management positions in community organisations, nurseries pursue chaplaincy, advisory, counselling, youth work, adult social care and health care. On completion students may do a one year top-up in university and get a BA Honours in any of the mentioned fields.)

Level 5
DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING and then QTLS
(Can work as a fully paid teacher in state schools as well as adult education in colleges and all of the education sector. The QTLS is legally recognised by the government as an alternative route to PGCE and the QTS. Graduates need to have minimum GCSE in core subjects to teach in Primary schools,)
